Link insertion guidelines
$200 USD ex-GST. One dofollow link in an existing Clean Commit article. You pay nothing unless we accept.
Most link requests get rejected because the sender clearly hasn't read the article they want a link in. Read this page thoroughly before you submit.
How it works
- You submit the form: your target URL, your anchor text, the article you want the link in, and exactly where in that article it should go.
- We review it. Every request gets evaluated for relevance, site quality and anchor risk, then a human makes the final call.
- If we accept, pay by card via Stripe Checkout or choose a Stripe invoice on the request form. Prices are ex-GST. Stripe Tax adds 10% GST for Australian customers; overseas customers pay no GST. Our ABN appears on the Stripe invoice. Payment is due within seven days; we don't work with PayPal right now.
- We place the link, verify it's live on the published page, and email you the live URL.
That's it. No back and forth, no "what's your best price" negotiation. The price is $200 USD ex-GST and it's the same for everyone.
What we accept
- Your site has to be a real business or publication with real content. We fetch it and read it. If we can't reach it, the request is rejected automatically.
- The link has to make sense in the article. A link to a logistics SaaS in an article about checkout UX can work. A link to an online casino in anything cannot.
- The anchor text has to read like something a writer would naturally type. "post-purchase survey tools" is fine. "best post-purchase survey tools 2026 [exact match]" is not.
What we reject without discussion
Gambling, adult, payday loans, pharma, crypto schemes, and anything in that neighbourhood. Don't pay anyone who promises they can get these placed here; they can't.
Nominating your placement
This is the part most people get wrong, so we've made it explicit. You pick the article AND the paragraph. When you submit, show us:
- The paragraph as it reads today — copy it exactly from the article.
- The paragraph with your link added — the same paragraph, showing exactly how it should read once your link is in. Either link existing words in the paragraph, or add one natural sentence that carries your link.
If the "after" version reads like an ad got pasted into the middle of someone's writing, we'll reject it. If it reads like the paragraph always had that link, you're in good shape. We may lightly adjust the wording so it sits properly in the article; the link and anchor stay as agreed.
Two things we won't do: place links in the opening paragraph of an article, and replace or remove links that are already there.
What you're actually buying
A dofollow link in an established article on a real agency blog, placed so it reads naturally, verified live after publishing. The link stays as long as the article does. We don't delete articles to resell placements, and we check placements after they go live.
What happens after you pay
The link usually goes live within a couple of days. Our system then fetches the live page and confirms your exact anchor and URL are present before we close the request and send you the live link. If anything fails on our side, we fix it or refund you.
